This page explains what PaydaySchedule.us collects, why, and how to opt out of the parts you do not want.
The short version is that we do not ask you to register, we do not sell anything, and the data that does get collected comes from analytics and advertising rather than from us.
What We Collect Directly
You can read every page on this site without giving us anything. There is no account, no login and no paywall.
If you email us, we keep your address and message so we can reply. We use it for that reply and nothing else, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
If you submit a contact form, the same applies. Form submissions reach the same inbox and are handled the same way.
Cookies and How Advertising Works Here
This site uses cookies. Some are set by us to remember basic preferences, and the rest are set by third parties for analytics and advertising.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info, or for European visitors at youronlinechoices.com.
Opting out does not remove ads. It stops them being targeted using your browsing history.
Analytics
We use website analytics to see which pages get read and where people give up. It tells us which calendars are worth maintaining.
Analytics data is aggregated. We see that a page had a certain number of visits from a certain country, not who you are.
Your browser sends an IP address with every request, as it does on every website. Analytics providers may process or truncate it as part of their service.
What We Never Collect
We do not ask for bank account details, routing numbers, Social Security numbers, employee ID numbers or payroll login credentials. No page here will request them.
If any page appearing to be this site asks for those, it is not us. Close it and tell us at corrections@paydayschedule.us.
Links to Other Sites
We link out to primary sources constantly, including government sites and employers’ own pages. That is how we show our working.
Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy policy. We have no control over what they collect.
Your Choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works, though some preferences will not stick.
- Turn off personalised ads through the Google and industry links above.
- Use your browser’s private or incognito mode so nothing persists after you close it.
- Email us to ask what we hold from any correspondence, and to have it deleted.
Children
This site is written for working adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not quietly rewrite it.
Material changes, such as adding a new category of data collection, will be noted on the page rather than buried.
